Movie: To protect the innocent from a corrupt and brutal cop, a vigilante hero must navigate his own strict code of honor. Surya, a unique individual raised by his mother to channel his anger and fight injustice only on Saturdays, faces a compelling mystery about why he must choose that specific day. Surya finds himself clashing with the egotistical and corrupt inspector R. Dayanand, who cruelly targets innocent civilians for trivial reasons.

From the start, you can sense Vivek Athreya’s distinct storytelling style. Fans of his previous works, like Brochevaruevarura and Ante Sundaraniki, will likely appreciate this film even more. First-time viewers might find the pacing a bit slow, but it’s intentional and necessary for the story’s progression.
The story is effectively adapted into the screenplay, though some parts could have been more engaging. Overall, it’s well done. Vivek Athreya’s previous scripts and this movie showcase his layered writing, which has noticeably improved. With some refinement in the screenplay, his storytelling could become even more impactful. One of the film’s highlights is showing that a great mass action movie doesn’t always need heavy, dramatic dialogue.
Nani and SJ Suryah deliver excellent performances, adding significant value to the film.
